Corrected age vs adjusted age — what's the difference?

Nothing. The terms "corrected age" and "adjusted age" are used interchangeably in clinical practice. Some neonatologists prefer "corrected gestational age" (CGA); others use "corrected age" or "adjusted age." The American Academy of Pediatrics tends to use "adjusted age," while the RCPCH in the UK may use "corrected age."

The calculation is identical: subtract the weeks of prematurity (40 weeks minus gestational age at birth) from the chronological age.
